The classic Zanzibar experience include tours to Spice Farms (but we'll do it with a twist), Stone Town City Tour (with a very experienced guides - we make sure that you have an experience extraordinaire), swimming with the Dolphins in Kizimkazi, snorkelling trips (please ask Lau to wear his Sponge-Bob-pants!), dhow boat cruises, and our version of the famous Safari Blue (which is a great trip to a sandbank off-shore with a super-yummy bbq). These tours are designed to give you a good insight into Zanzibar history, culture and nature and will give you the opportunity to experience what every visitor to this island should experience.
There are some places that not many tourists visit and there are some experiences that visitors will not take part in. If you like to get to know Zanzibar and explore places away from the hustle, take a look at our tours off the beaten track.
We can take you to Mtende village in the very south, where all you can find is local life and a different Zanzibar. Or we take you to the island of Uzi - the island that is not accessible during very high tides - where locals are happy to welcome the odd visitors, but do not want any tourism development to take place. You won't find any hotels or restaurants there, but we will make sure that you get to taste some local lunch.
And then there is the village of Jambiani, our home and base that we know inside out. We can pretty much show you anything you might be interested in - seaweed farming, coconut plants and all its uses, NGO projects, schools, haunted and sacred forests, etc. Pick your theme and we will make sure to make it as interesting as possible.
